HOW TO : SHARE FILES BETWEEN 2 ANDROID PHONES WITHOUT SENDING THEM

See, that's why info-guy is just so amazing.. We find ways to post things that sure as hell you will like, things like how you can stream videos, musics or even look at pics on your device without actually having them downloaded.
Ok this may sound tricky, let's do it simple :

-You have a video in your phone that i need to watch like NOW.

-But i am out of space on my phone or out of data to watch it online or download it from somewhere else.

Now.. That's SAD isn't it?

But what if you stream such files and just take a look at them and watch them without DOWNLOADING them?


Woo, sounds cool!

I am sure y'all are now like "info-guy how the hell is that possible? "

Well lemme tell you, it's not only possible but as easy as KEEP READING.

THINGS YOU NEED:
A) TWO ANDROID DEVICES
B)A FILE EXPLORING AND SHARING APP CALLED XPLORE: FILE MANAGER



Am sure you must have two androids ready and waiting for the app.

Now, let's start:

On the first Android (choose anyone from the two) open WIFI.. you can do that from settins > wireless & networks > wifi

At this step, i am hoping you have installed the above app on both the devices. IF NOT, pls install it NOW before continuing.

Launch the xplore first on the device you already opened it's wifi, leave the other device for a minute later.

Your screen shall now look like the image below:



That's is the latest version of XLORE as of the time of this post.

Now swipe left at the top where you see WIFI FILE SHARING and click on wifi file sharing.

A dropdown will appear with the following options : (1) wifi server (2)add device.

Now since this is YOUR first time, you need to create a server.

Ok, here comes the other phone : pick it up and open its wifi and MOBILE HOT SPOT (you can open it using the way you opened it on the earlier phone. )

On the second phone, also open XPLORE

Now i'd advice use to CLOSE YOUR DATA CONNECTION to avoid extra data charges.

Then connect the two phones using hotspot,you can do that by :

Using the hotspot opened on the second phone to connect with the first phone. When they are connected, now go back to XPLORE on both devices

now to the first phone, click on WIFI SERVER > and click on START
It'll show you a detail of the created server and give you an option to edit them ( i advice you to just edit the name and leave the settings as they are)

Now once the First phone shows SERVER CREATED!..

Then pick up the second one and click on ADD DEVICE, it'll display the list of devices open and ready for connection.

Choose the name you used on the FIRST phone and the first phone will notify you that the second phone is asking for access, click YES OR I ACCEPT .

NOTE: DO NOT ACCEPT ASKING FROM PHONES YOU DIDN'T KNOW, INFO-GUY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE DONE ON YOUR DEVICE WHILE ACTING ON YOUR OWN.

The two devices are now connected and you can see all the files from phone 2 on phone 1 and vice versa.

Click any folder to see it's content and play them or even install an app from one device to another without Downloading it.
