BARKEJI FOR SOSSA : EXACTLY WHAT WE NEED. READ THIS.

SOSSA!    SOSSA!!   SOSSA!!! : A WAKE UP CALL

Great sokoto state students, for a long time, we have not only been silent without a voice but also blind without an eye. I am NOT totally condemning the leadership of sossa but one could’nt help but think : Are sossa leaders really striving for our rights as proud students from the seat of caliphate or just striving for their own personal agenda?

That above, and many other questions have been lingering in our minds but with the little to nothing of a voice we have, for long no one has been able to man up and ask for us. But the truth is we are not really after the answer to those questions as we merely give a damn ( Sorry for my harsh language) about the past but are seriously devoted to ensuring the present and future wellbeing of every student from sokoto.

Did you know that as of today 24-11-2017 , the registration fees of our students from both 2016/2017 Matric School session and 2016/2017 UG-1 have not been cleared OR have not reflected on our student's account? This has affected many students especially sokoto matric students who rely almost solely on their un-released results for admission into the university. Not only them, but also the UG-1 students have undergone through different processes all in the name of the verification for payment and still nothing which even led to the school authority on Tuesday broadcasting a very threatening message to almost all students from sokoto state, the message read exactly as follows:

     “It appears that you have either not paid and/or verified your 2016/2017 fees. Kindly logon and verify before 26-11-2017 to avoid account blockage. Thanks”Now, what are we going to do about this? What are those brilliant students of sokoto whose poor parents can’t afford to pay for them? What is the leadership of SOSSA doing about this? 

Fortunately for us, someone is doing something. Who? His name is MUKHTAR HARUNA BARKEJI and I’d like to personally thank him for all he has done to sossa and to the whole university in general. Mukhtar who is known to many as BARKEJI is a 300 Level student of the university and he has worked so hard towards seeing that every sossa member got what he/she deserve. Brilliant, young and goal oriented with a leadership skill since the days of high school, Barkeji is sure to turn things around if given the chance. And we are giving it to him? Yes, we want to give him the chance because we believe he can make a positive impact on the current state of sossa.

All we need from every single one you is your support ( By voting for barkeji when the time comes) and prayer as we journey toward this important turning point of sossa.
